Bueschers build houses. It's almost pre-determined at birth. Vintage Luxury Builders carries on a family tradition that spans over sixty-five years and three generations. Our patriarch, Howard Buescher, instilled a passion for quality that we carry on today. Our goal is, and always has been, to provide our customers with the highest quality homes that allow them to live an easier, healthier life. We combine vintage craftsmanship with todays latest technologies in home automation and energy efficiency to create timeless luxury. With over fifty years of combined experience on staff, you can trust Vintage Luxury Builders to provide you with a home building experience unlike any other in the market.
Our History
Howard Buescher began his career in the industry in 1960 with Ryan Homes in the Northeast. He was the proud father of seven, and each of his children worked in the industry. In fact, six of the seven worked with Howard at Mercedes Homes, named for the family matriarch. Howard and Mercedes are the heart and soul of a family that now includes over fifty direct decedents.
In 1983, Howard started Mercedes Homes with the goal of providing a superior home, at a superior value. Howard and his children focused on constructing homes with quality building materials and exquisite attention to detail. Fast-forward to today and the Bueschers of central Texas strive to honor Howard’s legacy with every build. We take this responsibility very seriously. It’s an approach that has stood the test of time and we build with a fierce commitment to carry it forward for generations to come.
Meet The Team
Sherry Buescher
Owner / Managing Partner
Sherry has been in residential real estate for over 40 years. She became the owner/operator of a Fee Attorney Title Operation in the mid 80's, started a production home building company in the late 90's, and has been selling and building custom luxury homes in the hill country for the last 15 years. As a licensed attorney in the state of Texas, she leads by the book. However, her expertise in real estate transactions is exceeded by her eye for architectural design and her attention to detail in the finishing touches.
Michael has returned to the family business in the last 5 years. In that time, he has modernized our processes for budgeting and executing a build. Our build times have remained constant, despite headwinds that have impacted our competition, and the build quality we can provide is unmatched at our price. Both would not be possible without the impressive network of trades and suppliers Michael has developed.

Brandon has been a truly professional home builder since junior year at Wimberley High School. He has excelled in every role in the business, however, his true gift is attention to detail. As our unofficial head of quality control, Brandon relentlessly pursues perfection on all of our builds. A licensed realtor, Brandon also helps clients find the perfect lot and handles much of the sales process.

The building process was quite smooth. They told us we would be in our home in 7-8 months and they were true to their word. The walk through was very smooth and presented no issues and we closed on our home in February, 2025.
And most importantly, when we did have a minor issue after closing, they were responsive and the issue was quickly resolved. My wife and I very much appreciated just how responsive they were.
